Every human being has the ability to dance. Some more than others of course, but ABCD (Any Body Can Dance) proves that practically everyone of all shapes and sizes can bust a move if given the chance. The sequel to director Remo D'Souza's worldwide smash hit, ABCD 2 is another heart-warming story about people coming together for an impossible dream. This time around, the team of aspiring dancers is not only thrown together by circumstance - they're also thrown together by culture! A new generation of Indians between 18-25 emerges fuelled by their love for hip hop music and dance moves. The movie releases worldwide on 22 June 2015. It shows the story of eight aspiring dancers who are put through a series of tests to become part of an Indian dance crew. This is the second installment in the ABCD franchise. The cast features Prabhu Deva, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Ganesh Acharya, Aditya Pancholi, Terence Lewis and Lauren Gottlieb again playing the judges. The film's soundtrack was released on 19 June 2015 at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai, India. The original score was composed by Salim-Sulaiman and lyrics written by Kumaar (except "Daddy Mummy"). The first official song from the movie, "ABCD", was released on 19 June 2015. The second single from the movie is "Came So Far" by Yash Raj's in-house band Mokoomba. The film received mixed reviews from critics. Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV gave it 3 out of 5 stars and said that, "ABCD 2 is a reminder that dance remains, even after all these years, one of the most endearing performing arts". Gaurang Chauhan of Times of India gave it 3 out of 5 stars and said that, "On the whole, ABCD 2 is an entertaining movie with likeable characters and foot-tapping music. It's just that it could've been a lot better". Rajeev Masand gave it 2 out of 5 stars and said that, "It’s a patchy film that misses the mark in several places. The script is too thin to hold everything together, and what would’ve worked far better as a short film or an online series is stretched too thin here", but praised Shraddha Kapoor's performance by saying that, "There’s enough talent in this cast to keep us interested even though the story lacks the depth required to make ABCD 2 anything more than disposable fluff." The movie had an opening collection of 4.10 crores on its first day. It had a lifetime gross of 4.35 crores on its first week. The ABCD 2 premiered on 10 July 2015 at the Capri Mall, Mumbai and enjoyed a good opening with a collection of over 3 crore from its premiere day itself. ABCD 2 was released in more than 1000 screens, in the wake of the success of ABCD 1 in 2014. The movie was made available in 15 languages across all theaters in India. It became one of the highest grossing Bollywood films in 2015 after earning over 5 crore on its second Friday. cfa1e77820
